10th Annual Driggs Snowscapes – The Art of Sculpting Snow

We’ll be celebrating our  ‘10th Anniversary Driggs Snowscapes- The Art of Sculpting Snow’   a little differently than in past years.

A team of our best local, professional  snow sculptors, including past winners of local and regional snow sculpting competitions, are calling themselves ‘The Water Carvers”.

Right now they are in the process of designing an extra-large sculpture for exhibition on the Driggs City Plaza during the week of January 18-24, 2021.

Keep your eyes on the plaza and watch these sculptors-Tye Tilt,  Doug Cassidy,  Jane Linville,  Katie Knipe,  Ralph  Mossman,  Michael Hoffman, and  Alison Arnold – transform a huge block of snow into a sculpture called ‘That’s Snow Snake River” comprised of native wildlife creatures riding a river raft down the white water of the Snake River!

Sadly we’ll have to postpone Snow Ball for now. BUT…we invite you to remember how much fun we’ve had together in the last 9 years…when we’ve gathered to share our love for this community while celebrating SNOW.
