Dash For Down Syndrome
Dash For Down Syndrome raises funds and awareness for the Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect organization. This is a day of celebration for the local Down syndrome community, their families, and supporters. We want to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, and individuals that make this race possible.
We are excited for race day, August 28, 2021, and can’t wait to see you there! We are planning to have our race in person at Snake River Landing!!!
REGISTER EARLY!!! The 1st 800 people that register are guaranteed a SWAG BAG!
Any 10K and 3.21 Mile participants registered before August 6th will be guaranteed a race t-shirt (or if you order an add-on shirt before August 6th). After August 6th there will be limited shirt sizes if you register for the 10K or 3.21 Mile race or if you wish to purchase a shirt. So register early!
We will have medals at the finish line of each race. You also MUST HAVE YOUR BIB ON when you cross the finish line to receive your official medal!
If you register for the 10K or 3.21 Mile race you may also participate in the fun run! You do not need to register for both. Only one registration per person is needed.
INDIVIDUALS WITH DOWN SYNDROME
Individuals with Down syndrome that are registered for any of the three races will get a t-shirt, an engraved medal, and a racecourse poster. They will be highlighted on race day to celebrate their successes! If you are registering an individual with Down syndrome please choose the “Individual with Down Syndrome” registration option so we can make sure we have everything ready for them at the race! Thank you! Call Mary Murray at 208-520-9900 with any questions.

3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Eastern Idaho Down Syndrome Family Connect Office Parking Lot, 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls, 83404
We are excited to show you our new office! Please park and come on in! We are between Gandolfos and Red Clover. Parking can be a bit limited so we will have 5 spaces marked as “Dash Parking” right across from our office. We will have our sponsor flags and our swag store up so make sure to take a look at those as you pick up your packets. At packet pick-up, participants must present a valid photo ID or a copy of their confirmation email in order to pick up their bib, timing chip, and race shirt. We ask that only one car comes to pick up each team’s packets to help with traffic congestion. So for example, one car would come pick up all of Team Eli’s packets. If you are not on a team, then you come get your packet on your own. If you have any questions contact Mary Murray, 208-520-9900, firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be timing the 10K & 3.21 Mile Run. We are excited to have Lorraine Myers with TimeKeepers helping us with our event. You will get your chipped bibs at Packet Pick-Up on August 27th.
10K- 8:45 am
3.21 Mile- 9:00 am (Walkers and Runners)
Fun Run/Walk- 10:00 am
(There will be a group photo right after the Fun Run/Walk and medal ceremony!)
Both will be available at the event site.
The courses will be clearly marked with signs and staffed uniformed volunteers. Please obey their instructions for your protection and safety. There will also be a race map in each swag bag and posters at the race to help you see the routes ahead of time.
Starts at 10:00 AM. The course will be less than a mile. (NO shirts are given for the Fun Run but are available for purchase when you register.)
TimeKeepers will have results uploaded on the It’s Your Race website and app as well as the TimeKeepers website. The Rapid Results Kiosk will be available after you finish to get your time on a printout.
Our race doesn’t exist without our volunteers. If you or someone you know is not running/walking, but wants to be part of the experience please e-mail Mary Murray at email@example.com. We welcome groups as well such as church, scout, work, school, or neighborhood groups.

***In the event that we have to move to a virtual format due to State COVID-19 restrictions, we will still have a great celebration virtually. We will automatically transfer your registration to the virtual race (refunds will not be provided). But we are going to do all we can to have an in-person event!!!***
