Aid For Friends Encampment

Save the date for a unique experience, and a chance to give back to your own community. Participants will collect pledges from friends, family, and business owners to spend a cold winter night in a cardboard box, raising awareness and funds for our homeless shelter. Interested in spending the night? Contact Aid For Friends at (208) 232-0178. Community members are welcome to visit the encampment throughout the day to check out the camp site, to bring canned food for the Idaho Food Bank, to have a warm drink and snacks around the burn barrel, or to be entertained by the Gate City Singers in the LDS church next to Caldwell Park at 6:30 pm. Donations for the encampment will be accepted at the campsite and Aid For Friends office or online at http://bit.ly/aff-encampment.
