We seek to retrieve the original inspiration of Siddhattha Gotama, the man now known as the Buddha, bypassing the many add-ons and cultural accretions that have obscured the original teachings since the Buddha’s death, and re-root the practice harmoniously within the context of modern western ways of life and thought. We look to the earliest teachings of the historical Buddha, interpreted through the lens of the latest scholarship, drawing out their meaning within their historical context while demonstrating their value and relevance to people living in our own time.
