Kirkus-star winning author Pearl Whitfield, from Eastern Oregon,  will read from 2 of her books.  “Apsara” is the story of a little girl in 12th century Cambodia who is chosen to dance for the king.  “The Storekeeper, A Tale of Small Town Life” takes place in the inter mountain west of the US in modern times.  There will be time for questions and discussion.
