AG Run for a Reason 5K: Ruth Tagg

The “AG Run For A Reason” benefit is held to help a family in the community who is experiencing financial strains from medical issues.  The event has created a great culture of caring for others and the community. The core of the AG Cares Foundation and AvantGuard as a whole is about helping others in times of need. The 5K provides AG a way to help within the community and gives our team a chance to serve and to make a difference. We hope you’ll join us by registering for the event and/or donating to the cause.

Brandie and Chapman Tagg have two children, Bradley and Ruth. Their youngest, Ruth, was born early at 24 weeks weighing only 425 grams. She has had many respiratory and heart complications and has had several surgeries to help with these complications. The purpose of our 5K fundraiser is to raise money for this incredibly deserving family to help pay for Ruth’s medical bills.

Brandie just gave birth to a micro-preemie baby, Ruth. Due to life-threatening complications for the mom and baby, she was born at 23 weeks old weighing 445 grams. Any donations are greatly appreciated as Ruth will need critical care for quite some time and the medical bills could get astronomical.
